COVID-19

The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a pandemic that has disrupted and will continue to disrupt the operations of Canadian businesses and our community for some time. The Office Mover is committed to the health, safety and well-being of our clients, staff, and community. With our commitment, we are closely following guidelines by the WHO and Canadian governments at all level and have put in place the following precautionary practices at the Office Mover:

Self-monitor
Staff is encouraged to self-monitor for symptoms, stay at home at the first sign of illness (even if those signs do not meet the minimum requirements set by the Ontario Ministry of Health to qualify for COVID-19 testing), and notify management immediately. Staff is also instructed to practice self-isolation for 14 days if they have been exposed to someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or if they have traveled outside of the country.

Practice Good Hygiene
Staff is encouraged to practice good hygiene on and off the job, including regularly washing hands with soap thoroughly and using alcohol-based hand sanitizers. The Office Mover supplies our staff with hand sanitizers on the job.

Practice Physical Distancing
We make our best effort to minimize the number of non-crew members on the job site from both The Office Mover and our client organizations. Our crews are directed to maintain a 6-ft distance from clients and other crew members to the best of the abilities.

Wearing Protective Face Masks and Gloves
Our crews are supplied with medical-grade face masks and N95 masks. Our crews also wear work gloves to avoid direct contact and for protection.
